About me
Hello, and thank you for being here.
My name is Alissia Milena.
I have been walking this path for more than thirty years, and as long as I can remember, sound has been an important part of my life.
I was introduced to many musical instruments during my childhood, as my parents were already offering sound healing journeys. They also performed concerts using a variety of instruments, including the monochord, tambura, gongs, and shruti box, and they practiced overtone singing. The world of natural harmonics was almost placed into my cradle from birth. At a young age, I also learned many traditional power songs while participating in children’s powwow drum circles.
After completing my apprenticeship as a gardener, I decided to follow a musical path. I led my first singing circles at the age of eighteen, and since then my collection of songs has continued to grow.
I began writing my own music and performing on harp and guitar on various stages. Later, I joined different bands and explored a wide range of musical styles. However, Celtic and mystic folk music, as well as world music, have always held a special place in my heart.
At the age of twenty-four, I became a mother—an experience that profoundly deepened my connection to life, love, and the cycles of nature.
Over the years, I have produced three albums and continue to perform with my own band. During this time, I also began facilitating water blessing ceremonies and deepened my connection to ceremonial work. I completed training as a Peace Tree Planter and received an initiation as a Fire Keeper.
Holding ceremonial spaces in service to Mother Earth has become an essential part of my life’s purpose. Creating spaces for prayer, connection, healing, and remembrance is something I carry deeply in my heart.
To further deepen my knowledge and expand my skills, I will begin my studies in Music and Movement later this year.
At the beginning of 2026, I spent two months travelling in India, where I completed a Sound Healer training course in Rishikesh. After returning home and finding the right space to work in, I felt a strong calling to share these newly developed abilities—skills that come to me naturally and intuitively.
This is how Sound of Unity was born: a space for healing, connection, self-expression, and inner transformation.
Welcome to the community.
